Lab Test Compliance Rules
Lab Test compliance rules allow you to require that a participant report a test result in TrackMy. This compliance type does not include Tuberculosis tests. See Tuberculosis Test compliance rules.
If you do not see the buttons described here, contact your TrackMy Client Success team to be granted the necessary admin permissions.

This acceptance is set within the Lab Test rule builder.
Test Declinations
Test Declinations request forms are built and managed within the Manage Accommodations and Declinations tile.
Declination request forms are built on the Disease Type level.
The following example lists the criteria for accepting a Test Declination request form for a Lab Test rule.

Triggering events for Lab Test Compliance Rules
The only way for a participant to become compliant is to submit the required test type. There are no accommodations, declinations, or other alternatives for the user to submit.
Test records with an Inconclusive or Control Invalid result are not considered for compliance evaluation. In this case, TMV will evaluate the participant’s next most recent record for the test type.
The following events will trigger a Lab Test to be evaluated for compliance:
Lab test is submitted by participant
Status change
Admin/clinician updates lab test status to Validated after review
Lab test is submitted by a clinician for the patient (via SFP test workflow)
Manual Exemption Entry for a test rqm is saved by admin/clinician
Manual Exemption Entry for a test rqm is deleted by admin/clinician
Patient-requested declination for a test rqm is approved by admin/clinician
Lab Test status and compliance
Due to the ability to set a default status for a test submission within Configure Test Types, and the ability to set the required status in the Rule Wizard, it is important to understand how the two settings work together.
When a user will immediately be compliant upon submitting the test
Test default status is set to Pending + Rule Wizard is set to accept Pending status
Test default status is set to Validated + Rule Wizard is set to require Validated status
Test default status is set to Validated + Rule Wizard is set to accept Pending status
When a user will remain not compliant until after form review
Test default status is set to Pending + Rule Wizard is set to require Validated status
