Review self-reported lab test results

This guide explains how to review self-reported lab test results in Review Queues. Your organization's requirements for validating a lab test may vary.

This queue is only for tests documented directly in TMV — self-reported by a patient or documented by your clinical team. Results received electronically from a connected external lab partner do not appear here.

If you do not have the Review Queues tile in TMV, follow these steps to review self-reported lab tests:

  1. Go to the Validation Queue tile. Tests are included in the Vaccines queue.

  2. Starting at Step 3, follow the steps below to manage the test case.

To review self-reported lab tests:

  1. In your Verivax admin/clinical portal, go to Review Queues.

  2. Go to Lab Tests.
Note: Only test cases in Pending status will show by default.

  3. Click Review Case to view a test result.

  4. Click the Status to update the status.

  5. Click Next Case to view the next pending case in the queue.

If you do not see all expected reported test results in the queue, check that documentation is required to be uploaded for all test types that you will review. Tests reported without documentation will not display in the Lab Tests review queue. Review how to edit the settings for a test type here.

Change the test type on a case

If a self-reported case was submitted under the wrong test type, you can correct it directly from the case:

  1. Open the case and select a different test type from the Test Type field.

  2. Confirm the change when prompted.

The Test Type field locks once a case is Validated. Return the case to Pending to make further changes, then re-validate.
